Fabio
Mondini De Focatiis

FOUNDING PARTNER

Fabio is the Founder of Growth Capital. Fabio was from 2015 to 2022 Venture Partner at Eurazeo Investment, one of Europe's leading investment funds with > 30B€ AUM, where he oversaws VC global investments in Smart Cities, and Italian investments in multiple sectors. Fabio is also an active Business Angel and Growth Engine's founding member.

Previously, he was Senior Advisor of the European Investment Fund (EIF), SVP at Soitec, where he sold the Solar Division after increasing the yearly revenue from ~2M€ to ~45M€, and he founded RenEn Renewable Energy. He has previously worked at McKinsey, ENEL and Russell Reynolds. Fabio holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from the MIT, and a B.S. from Federico II University. When he is not spending time with outstanding entrepreneurs, Fabio loves to travel the world with his wife Stefania and their two sons, Francesco and Massimo.

Lorenzo
Triboli

VICE PRESIDENT & CFO

Graduated in economics at Bocconi University with full marks, Lorenzo has a background in strategy, venture capital and impact investing gained first at Boston Consulting Group, and then at Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell'Amore, a vehicle created by Fondazione Cariplo investing in startups and SMEs addressing social and environmental challenges. Here, he held the role of Investment Manager. Member of the Global Shapers Community, network promoted by the World Economic Forum realizing impactful projects on the territory, of which he held the role of Curator of the Milan hub in the 2019-2020 mandate. Lorenzo has been at Growth Capital since April 2020 since when he has overseen mandates in fashion, beauty and deep tech. In addition to leading several teams, Lorenzo holds strategic roles such as CFO, HR&Talent Management, and Communication Strategy. Lorenzo is passionate about sustainability and impact investing. A multiple fantasy-football champion, he loves cinema and snowboarding.

Andrea
Casati

VICE-PRESIDENT

Andrea has been at Growth Capital since its foundation, where he helped in building and developing the team and the culture.

Prior to joining Growth Capital, Andrea worked as an analyst at an investment bank in San Francisco, where he executed several capital increases (equity and debt) for US startups and SMEs, and held junior roles in private equity and equity research in Southern California.

Andrea holds a Master degree in Banking & Finance from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and a certificate in Investment Management from UCLA Los Angeles.

In his spare time, Andrea enjoys reading (favorite book: Kafka on the Shore by Murakami Haruki) and collecting ukiyo-e. He is currently studying Japanese and would love to learn programming (python).

Marco
Meoni

ASSOCIATE

Marco joined Growth Capital in February 2018. He supervised several extraordinary finance transactions for Startups and SMEs in Digital, eCommerce and Brick & Mortar, including Barberino's, HiNelson, VINO.COM, and Homepal.

Previously, he graduated with honors in Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries at Università Cattolica of Milan, carrying out study experiences at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, London School of Economics ,and UC Irvine.

Marco has a strong passion for the world of innovation and has made some investments in startups as a Business Angel.

Alessandra
Allazetta

SENIOR ANALYST

After graduating in Law from Bocconi University, Alessandra worked in the Corporate & Equity Capital Markets department of a leading international law firm headquartered in Milan, assisting companies in daily activities, and she was involved in several extraordinary finance transactions. Curious about the interconnection between the worlds of law, finance and innovation, Alessandra joined Growth Capital team in September 2020 and is pursuing a second degree in Economics and Finance.

Alessandra is passionate about photography, travel, contemporary art and regularly performs volunteering activities.

Giacomo
Bider

SENIOR ANALYST

Giacomo graduated in Business Administration and Management at Bocconi University in Milan, after a semester of study abroad at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver and an internship in Private Equity in Milan. Then, he obtained a Master degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Control at Bocconi University, complemented with a study experience in Maastricht, in the Netherlands. Giacomo joined Growth Capital team in January 2020 and he worked with startups in the Fashion, Healthcare and BioTech sectors, including Hyris and Armadioverde.

Passionate about basketball and mountains, when he is not riding a motorcycle he can be found in the Alps doing ski mountaineering or hiking.

Francesco
Chiarpanello

SENIOR ANALYST

Francesco joined Growth Capital in March 2019, and has followed the fundraising of high potential startups such as Caracol, Barberino's and Hyris.

Francesco completed his studies with a Master's degree in Administration, Corporate Finance and Control at Bocconi University and a study experience at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

When not on Excel, Francesco enjoys concerts, bookstores, and ski resorts.

Camilla
Maver

COMMUNICATION MANAGER

In Growth Capital since May 2021, Camilla has several experiences in communication, media relations, press office and social media.

Camilla graduated with honors in the Bachelor of Arts, Design and Entertainment and in the Master of Arts, Heritage and Markets at the University of Languages and Communication IULM in Milan.

Camilla is passionate about contemporary art, design and fashion. In her spare time she loves running, visiting museums, going to concerts, experiencing restaurants and the Riviera Romagnola.

Flaminia
Bianchi

ANALYST

Flaminia graduated in Politics and Business Management from the Queen Mary University in London. After 4 years in England she came back to Italy to attend the MBA in Corporate Finance at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan.

After working as an intern in a Private Equity fund, Flaminia joined Growth Capital in January 2021.

Flaminia's passions are yoga, sailing, and sustainability, and she loves spending her weekends surrounded by nature.

Nicolò
Jesi Ferrari

ANALYST

Nicolò obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University, spending an Exchange semester at Boston College. He is currently attending the MSc in Management (with major in Corporate Finance) at Bocconi University, and spent his second Exchange semester at ESSEC Business School in Paris. In summer 2018 he completed an internship in Private Banking, and in fall 2020 in an international startup accelerator.

Nicolò joined Growth Capital in July 2021.

In his spare time, he enjoys drawing and painting, visiting museums, and traveling.

Parente

ANALYST

Marco obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance at Bocconi University with honors, spending an Exchange semester at Cass Business School in London.

Marco joined Growth Capital in April 2021 and he is currently attending the MSc in Finance (with major in Asset Management) at Bocconi University and Stockholm School of Economics as part of a Double Degree program.

Passionate about classical literature, in his spare time Marco likes to dedicate himself to entomology and cooking.

Edoardo
Praderio

ANALYST

Edoardo graduated in Business Administration and Management at Bocconi University in Milan, after an exchange semester at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA. Afterwards, at Bocconi University, he obtained a Master degree in Management completed with an experience in Private Equity.

After an experience in a primary M&A boutique in Milan where he participated to several transactions in the Automotive and Healthcare sectors, Edoardo joined the Growth Capital team in September 2021.

Edoardo is an enthusiastic cook and in his spare time he loves playing Golf and discovering and trying new cuisines and restaurants.

Elena
Principi

ANALYST

Elena obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University, spending a semester of study abroad at UCL in London. She completed her studies achieving a Master's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management and Control at Bocconi, after an internship experience as financial auditor at KPMG and one as a consultant at Bain&Company. 

Elena joined the Growth Capital team in September 2022. 

Passionate about volleyball and piano, in her spare time she enjoys traveling and attending concerts, clubs and restaurants with friends.

Giacomo Montorfano

LEGAL COUNSEL

After earning a first bachelor’s degree in Business and Management at Bocconi University, he took a second degree in Law with a major in International Business and Financial Law.

Always fascinated by the VC ecosystem, Giacomo previously worked in the incubator B4i - Bocconi for Innovation and in a startup.

Giacomo joined the Growth Capital team in February 2022 and is now Legal Counsel, supporting startups in all stages of fundraising rounds and M&A transactions.

In his free time, he enjoys playing different sports and discovering the world.

Stefania
Bevilacqua

PEOPLE & OFFICE MANAGER

Stefania has several experiences in companies such as La Repubblica and EMI Music Publishing.

After 12 years in a Holding Company and Family Office Stefania joined Growth Capital team in April 2022.

Stefania completed a master's degree in HR through White Job - Euspert.

Stefania is an animal lover, voyager and shopaholic and in her free time she is always skiing, travelling around the world and having shopping.
