Founded by Marco Brunetti and Simone Sangiorgi, Kippy is the pet care company that develops and manufactures IOT devices capable of real-time tracking and monitoring the health and motor activity of pets (dogs and cats), thanks to “SIM on chip” technology and operating on a dedicated M2M network.

SCENARIO

Kippy was looking for new funding to consolidate its position in Italy and Europe as well as to enter the U.S., the world’s top market for pet wearables and pet care-related spending; to finalize the development and launch of its new product, Kippy Cat, the world’s smallest and lightest pet tracker for cats; and to release a new 3.0 algorithm that will detect cat-specific activity and include Health Rate, a health index dedicated to pet tracking.

THE ADVISOR’S SUPPORT

GC acted as the exclusive advisor to Kippy in the bridge rounds and in the structuring of the Series A round. GC was in charge of the preparation of the documentation package (from the business plan to the pitching material), the identification of the lead investor and the support to the negotiation with the same.
