Frankly is the First Mover and market leader in Italy for Bubble Tea with 9 stores in main Italian Northern cities and an online e-commerce of bubble tea products. It is a lifestyle brand aimed at the generation Z with a wide variety of products, attractive design and a strong presence on the main Social Media platforms (Instagram and TikTok).

 

SCENARIO

Frankly was aiming to consolidate its expansion plan on a national and international level, develop the franchising business line, expand is team and develop the digitalization of the business.

 

THE ADVISOR’S SUPPORT

GC supported Frankly in its Series A fundraising round. GC structured the deal by assisting Frankly in the drafting of the documentation package, setting up the equity crowdfunding campaign, identifying the investors and negotiating with them.

 

INVESTORS AND PROCESS

Frankly successfully concluded the equity crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd for over €1.4M in which Azimut – ELTIF participated for €1M.

The second investment was made by CDP – Fondo Rilancio for €1M.
